Fuji Tsushinki Manufacturing Corporation, the company that later becomes Fujitsu Limited, is born as an offshoot of the communications division of Fuji Electric. The new company is capitalized at three million yen and has 700 employees. |

| Dec 1945 | Fuji Tsushinki is granted government recognition by Japanese Ministry of Telecommuniations as an officially approved telephone developer and manufacturer. |
| Jul 1946 | Tokyo Representative Office is established as sales organization. |
