Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance achieves milestone of 200,000 downloads worldwide
As communications and public services provided through Internet technology give people more comfort and convenience, websites
that are easy for everyone to use and understand are required. As an activity for promoting universal design, Fujitsu is distributing
free diagnostic software tools, called "Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance," to website creators and designers.
Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance consists of three tools: Web Accessibility Inspector, ColorSelector, and ColorDoctor.
Since Web Accessibility Inspector and ColorSelector have Chinese and Korean versions, they will serve in many countries around

Web Accessibility Inspector
Web Accessibility Inspector is a software for judging website accessibility.
Web Accessibility Inspector points out any important problems that affect mainly the aged and visually impaired people. Based
on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 and Fujitsu Web Accessibility Guidelines, the software conducts an accurate diagnosis,
describes the problems, and visually indicates the parts that need modification. It diagnoses not only HTML, but also an entire
document, including CSS.
Using this software, you can improve the accessibility and maintain the reliability of your website.
Web Accessibility Inspector runs on the Windows® and Mac OS X operating systems. The program is available as a free download from the Fujitsu Web site.
ColorSelector
ColorSelector is a software for judging the legibility of background and text colors.
You can select any color on the display by simply using the "Dropper" function. You can also enter the RGB values of a
color and judge its legibility. These functions are useful for checking the coloration of proposals and presentations as well
as websites.
Using this software, you can improve the viewability and readability of websites and various documents.
ColorSelector runs on the Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. The program is available as a free download from the Fujitsu Web site.
ColorDoctor
ColorDoctor is a software that simulates the display content according to grayscale and color characteristics.
When simulating a website, select the "Browse" mode and specify a URL. When simulating a proposal or presentation, select
the "Transparent" mode. It is also possible to simulate moving images such as Flash in real time.
This software assists in accessibility checking of colors visually and so improves viewability and differentiation of colors.
ColorDoctor runs on the Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems. The program is available as a free download from the Fujitsu Web site.
